About 3 times faster than Seedance 1.0 Pro and around 72% lower in cost, with output up to 1080p.
Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast is ByteDance's Seed route for fast, low-cost silent video iteration. Compared with Seedance 1.0 Pro, its generation speed is about 3 times faster and cost is about 72% lower. Raphael supports text input or one first-frame image input, and can generate 2–12 second, 24fps MP4 videos in 480p, 720p, or 1080p, suitable for ad A/B tests, storyboards, product animation, and social short-form drafts.
View multiscene shot demos for nature, stage, space, and fantasy themes.
Generate a silent, natural-themed montage about 8 seconds long in 16:9: start with a slow dolly-in from behind a short-haired girl in a flower field at sunset, then sweep across backlit flowers and move into an extreme close-up of the girl’s eye, and finally cut to a slow-rotating school of fish in deep-blue water. Keep brief English prompt subtitles at the bottom of each shot, and do not generate audio.
Prioritize speed and unit cost, then use more experiments to find video directions worth keeping.

“A silver unbranded soda can quickly pops out of icy water, with droplets exploding in the air. The camera quickly dollies in, the background creates a clean sense of motion while the product remains sharp, and the result is a tightly paced short ad.”
The Fast route is optimized for short video turnaround speed, suitable for interactive creative workflows, ad variations, and storyboard processes that need quick results. The speed comparison is against Seedance 1.0 Pro, and actual waiting time is still affected by queue load, quality, and duration.

“Make a pair of unbranded orange sneakers hover in front of a light-blue background, with colorful paper sheets moving with the sneakers’ lively spin. Keep the shoe shape and sole clear and the composition crisp and clean for social ad variations.”
480p costs 4 credits per second, 720p costs 8 credits per second, and 1080p costs 17 credits per second. The lower unit price allows you to test more ad openings, motion rhythms, and camera angles with the same budget, then select versions worth continuing.

“Use the uploaded image of a blue paper boat as the first frame, making it glide naturally across real shallow water. Keep the paper boat shape and color stable, with tiny ripples at the stern, and a low-angle tracking shot with the camera.”
Text-to-video is ideal for validating scene and motion from scratch. Image-to-video can use a product, character, or concept image as a stable starting point, then use prompts to control subject movement and camera style. Currently, you can upload up to one image as the first frame per generation.

“At dusk on the beach, a skateboarder jumps over a long bench. Keep the person’s pose, skateboard structure, and motion continuity, with moderate speed sensation in the background, and complete it as a clear cinematic storyboard segment.”
Short hooks, product demos, and storyboards can all choose integer durations as needed. 480p is suitable for low-cost drafts, 720p for everyday content, and 1080p for selected clips where more detail matters. This route generates video only and does not generate audio.

Perfect for getting started
Learn about speed comparisons, credits, quality, duration, first-frame input, and silent output.
It is the fast, low-cost route of Seedance 1.0 Pro, suited to silent video tasks that need high-volume iteration, such as ad testing, storyboards, product animation, and social clips.
The comparison baseline for EvoLink is Seedance 1.0 Pro. This number reflects the relative positioning of the model route, and does not guarantee each generation is always one-third faster.
This is also a comparison between the Fast route and Seedance 1.0 Pro, used to indicate that Fast is better for high-frequency, low-cost iteration. The actual credits deducted in Raphael are based on what is shown before generation is submitted.
480p: 4 credits per second, 720p: 8 credits per second, 1080p: 17 credits per second.
The minimum duration is 2 seconds, so the minimum cost is 8 credits at 480p, 16 credits at 720p, and 34 credits at 1080p.
Any whole number between 2 and 12 seconds is supported, with output as 24fps MP4 video.
Yes, you can upload up to one image as the first frame currently. The model will continue the subject and composition of that frame and generate subsequent motion based on prompts.
No. It only generates video. If you need native synchronized dialogue, sound effects, or ambience, choose Seedance 1.5 Pro.
Choose 1080p when the concept has passed draft filtering and requires clearer product, character, or environmental details. For broad exploration, prefer 480p or 720p first.
